Links for Writers and Educators

One of the best things I’ve done for my writing is to join the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators.

When I attended my first Indiana SCBWI conference in 2004, I was overjoyed to find people who understood what I was doing and who took writing seriously. That’s where I met my critique group partners. Joining the critique group was another one of the best things I’ve done for my writing. To meet regularly (we meet bi-monthly) with others who are facing the same challenges and opportunities is inspiring and motivating.
